DESCRIPTION:The Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center is hosting a 2-part event entitled “Singing Freedom” on Sunday\, January 15th and Monday\, January 16th! “Singing Freedom” utilizes Freedom on the Move– Cornell University’s database devoted to the experiences of fugitives from slavery in North America to “capture a multiplicity of voices and perspectives\, each meditating on what it means to risk it all to be free.” This is guaranteed to be culturally and emotionally impactful event for all who attend!
