SUMMARY:Juanita Kidd Stout Community Expo
DESCRIPTION:The Juanita Kidd Stout Community Expo will take place on Saturday- April 28\, 2018\, at Mt. Olivet Village\, 642 North 41st St.\, Philadelphia\, PA 19040. \nPhiladelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority\, Inc.\, is excited to partner with the People’s Emergency Center (PEC)\, to provide information and bring attention to ways that the community can attain resources and services for themselves and their families. This year’s theme is entitled “Connecting Community Resources.” Community residents are invited to attend this free event. \nThe event will feature workshops\, service and support agencies\, display tables\, health screenings\, face painting\, book giveaways for children\, light fare and entertainment. \nThe Expo runs 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will offer financial literacy workshops on debt management\, consumer fraud and an expungement center. Display tables will feature information on affordable housing\, insurance\, entrepreneurship\, education\, physical and mental health\, voter registration\, DYI and more.
