College and Career Readiness
CHAIRS | Jennifer Carroll Rivers, Jessica Ross-White, & Tracey Petty
The College and Career Readiness Committee, through the SAT Prep Workshop, provides the opportunity for high school students to improve reasoning skills and the ability to analyze and solve problems in verbal and mathematics on standardized exams (SAT and ACT). On average, participants have an increase of about 100 points from the pre-test to the post-test.
In addition, the committee hosts a spring BluePrint workshop where students and their families are able to gain access to information that will support post-secondary planning.
