Join the Eastern Region Social Action Team for an energizing and empowering virtual training tailored for the Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter! This “Social Action Recharge” will blend Delta’s Social Action 101 fundamentals with an in-depth look at the region’s most pressing advocacy priorities—Medicaid, human trafficking, affordable housing, and maternal health.
Participants will:
– Deepen their understanding of Delta’s Social Action framework and the Eastern Region’s 2025 advocacy priorities.
– Build practical advocacy skills for mobilizing communities and influencing public policy.
– Learn effective communication strategies for engaging elected officials and the public on key issues.
– Strengthen their capacity to translate awareness into tangible, local action.
